Gregory Vignal joined Liverpool in 2000 from Montpellier as a promising French left-back. Although he showed early potential, injuries and strong competition for places limited his first-team opportunities. During his time at Liverpool, he made 20 appearances and was part of the squad that won the UEFA Cup, FA Cup, and League Cup treble in the 2000–01 season. Vignal spent time on loan at clubs including Bastia, Espanyol, and Rangers before leaving Liverpool permanently in 2005. While his Anfield career was brief, he remains remembered as part of the club’s successful early-2000s era.
